The Isolator is mounted on a fixed bed trolley. There is a gas-tight zip entry for the patient. There are 4 glove ring arms on each side of the unit,
The air filtration system consists of a single inlet Hepa filter and a double outlet Hepa filter connected to a 12-volt battery fan to maintain a negative pressure within the Isolator for the duration of the patient transfer

The uni powers up and has been tested with a digital thermometer (not included).
Chilling:-
The temperature was first set to its minimum setting of -30˚c, it dropped as low as -13˚c before it started to climb back up. This is likely due to the concentration of antifreeze used.
Heating:-
The temperature was set to 37˚c and it climbed from -12 to 37˚c within 10 minutes.
The temperature was finally set to it's maximum of 155˚c but when it reached boiling point at 100˚c we switched it off.
