This RS Biotech Galaxy R CO2 Incubator Model - 170-300 was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit powers up and has been tested with 5% CO2 and a digital thermometer (not included).
When set to 37˚C the display showed 36.9˚C and the thermometer measured 37.4˚C. It took about 3 hours.
When set to 50˚C (max) the display showed 49.8˚C and the thermometer measured 50.6˚C. It took about 6 hours to get there.
The CO2 level climbed from it's setting of 5% up to 7%.
It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition but has marks from use.

This unit is being sold on behalf of a client it is surplus to requirements.
It is in very good cosmetic condition and would be ideal for use in a cafe, or other public areas. It has a very good strong steel frame, painted blue with a wooden top laminated in white uPVC. The centre opening is 57cm in diameter.
It is in storage in Glasgow. The building has good access with large doors and good parking. Viewing of this unit can be arranged with use.
This is a heavy item so a van with a tail lift is recommended. We estimate it weighs around 165kg.

The unit powers up and has been tested with a digital thermometer. When the dial was set to just under 40˚C it reached 32. When turned to max it reached 48˚C. It is missing the glass door which might be why it is not reaching the temperature.
We recommend replacing the glass-door.

The item is in reasonable cosmetic condition but has some water marks on the larger lens. The hard case has stains and scuff marks from prior handling and the tripod has initials carved into it.
The tripod works as intended, the legs can be adjusted easily but the u doesn't power on.
It's likely the battery has gone flat and we have no suitable charging dock. We are unable to confirm the condition of the battery. It had a white substance on it and we think it may have leaked.
