Peak Scientific Nitrogen Gas Generator N300DR

This was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

A professional health check has been carried out and it was recommended that it should not be used in its current state.

On inspection the chassis shows signs of internal corrosion most likely related to leaks in the system dripping to chassis. The generators own diagnostic test highlighted compressor 1 to be faulty (replacement required). This is not related to the wiring up to the point of compressor connection,with most likely

cause to be a failed motor.

The N2 membrane has deteriorated resulting in poor Nitrogen purity although results could improve if used withing a

serviced generator. The dryer membrane was faulty due to a costantly passing float drain which we replaced FOC (to

allow further testing). To return this generator to a usable state requires a full refurbishment

This Ultrospec 2100 Pro UV/Visible Spectrophotometer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

We had the instrument inspected by a qualified service engineer. They reported that it passes all initialisation steps including the calibration. The only issue is that the soft key "9" sometimes presses "3" and "6" depending on where you press it. It is working well and you can still press "3".

It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition with some marks from use.
