The unit powers on but has not been tested any further are our site as we do not have the software to operate it further. It has not been used for a number of years.

This Perkin-Elmer Lambda 5 UV/VIS Spectrophotometer was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The item is in reasonable cosmetic condition but it is very stained and has other signs of prior use.
The item audibly powered on but there was no other indication of it working bar the sound. It was not tested further.
Please note that a decontamination has occurred but not all chemical residue can be removed, this can be seen in the images.
As such we advised hand hygiene and personal protective equipment must be used as a precaution.

The item is in reasonable cosmetic condition but there are scratches and glue residue on the tripod. The tripod's lid is cracked and broken. The bag has scuff marks and has been written on with a marker.
It was not tested further but the tripod seems to be in good working order.

This ALC Multispeed Refrigerated Centrifuge Model - PK 121R Cat no. 11172023 was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.
The unit powers up and was set to the rotor max of 4300rpm. It runs smoothly. The centrifuge is capable of 14000RPM. It was tested with a digital thermometer (not included). The temperature was set to its minimum of -10˚c and it dropped as low as -8˚c after running for an hour. The thermometer was reading -20˚c.
It is in reasonably good cosmetic condition with marks from use.

This was removed from a university engineering department where it was surplus to requirements.
The set is in reasonable cosmetic condition. The reflector has scratches on both its metal and plastic components. The tripod has scratches, as well as initials, etched into it.
There was some white chalky powder in the case. We did our best to remove it but there is still some residue.
It was not tested.

The item is in reasonable cosmetic condition but the tripod,s wood and metal are worn and scratched. The metal on the reflector seems slightly bent.
A note left on the reflector says 'bubble damaged'. It does seem like it doesn't level very well.
We had no issue adjusting the height on the tripod. It was not tested further.

The tripod can be difficult to level/make steady due to two issues. One of the feet is missing its spike, which makes it shorter and the clamps to adjust the height are very stiff.
