Thermo Scientific Matrix Hydra II Automated Liquid Handling System Lab

This Thermo Scientific Matrix Hydra II Automated Liquid Handling System was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The system is in good cosmetic condition with marks from use. All modules power up.

We had a service engineer inspect and test this system after setting up and connecting all the electronic connectors but not the pipes.

The 1-channel nanofill mechanism was stuck so they took it apart and lubricated it. It's now working fine and can be controlled by the PC. The matrix stage is working fine and can be controlled by the PC but the dispenser is not working.

The Hydra pump Module: They have changed the two fan guards with better ones and cleaned the fan. Now they are looking better. This module is working fine and communicates with the PC as normal.

We can run test protocols but from time to time we got some error messages. I think that because the fact we have not used any liquid and the system sends feedback when the liquid passed through some parts.

The system is made up of the following;
