This ALC Multispeed Refrigerated Centrifuge PK 121 R was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit is in reasonable cosmetic condition but has been previously used. The start button is damaged but still works.

The unit powers on and has been tested. It spins up to 4100rpm, but the rotor is rated at 4300rpm. When set to its lowest which is -10 degrees it got down as low as -12. When set to its max which is 40 degrees it displayed 39 and was at 37.

The Rotor number displayed T515.

The Buckets Serial number is 0306/01.

The buckets Cat Number is 11210335.

The number on the bottom of the buckets is Ch. 007027 S.303.

The bucket adaptors inside the buckets were numbered ALC R2035 & the Cat Number is 11172435.

The ALC 2035 Adapter is for 50ml tubes.

The item is in a reasonable, used cosmetic condition but we were unable to test it at our facility. It will require a cable and plug fitting.

While the system is operational a number of issues were found during a service. The service was then abandoned. It is sold for spares/repairs.

The inside of the machine was found to be oily, the oil level was too high and there was water in the oil, the drive belts are cracked and need

replacing and the oil cooler fan is seized. Water was found in the oil. The main cooling fan is seized - this needs replacing. The compressor looks to have been stood for some-time.

Specs;

Year 2005, 10 bar, 11.5l/s 0.69m3/m 5.5kw 3 phase. 308kg.

This Thermo Shandon Cytospin 4 Cytocentrifuge was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The unit has been inspected by a service engineer who fitted new plastic hinges fitted. The repair isn't perfect, but it's functional

It also appears to have a battery error. There is a battery soldered to the main board, it probably needs replacing. The unit shows an error 4 code when first switched on but if you press stop the code goes away, and the unit starts up normally.

The error relates to a discharged battery.

The unit is in otherwise full working condition and is in good cosmetic condition with just the marks from the repairs.

This system was removed from a university lab where it was surplus to requirements.

The Rigaku X-Stream 2000 main unit did not power on when tested with a 3 Phase test plug. It is in good cosmetic condition with minimal wear.

The cryogenic crystal cooler powers on and is in good condition with minimal wear. It has passed a PAT test, but no further testing was performed.

Due to the main unit not powering on, this system is listed as Spares/Repair.
