This item was removed from a university where it was surplus to requirement.

Upon power up, the unit began to emit a burning/smoke smell when attempting to pull vacuum. This created an issue during removal of the front panel and release of the vacuum in order to remove the rotor.

Inspection of the internals revealed several visibly blown capacitors on the main board.

The unit is therefore being sold for spares or repair.
