This system was removed from a university laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.

The previous owner confirmed it was in good working condition prior to removal, though advised there may be a potential laser-related issue.

The microscope and automated stage have been briefly tested and are functioning as expected, with test slide images successfully captured. Service records show the system was last serviced by Zeiss on 16/04/2014, where the switching mirror was replaced and META calibration completed, and it was reported as fully working at that time.

The main Freedom EVO-2 base has been powered on. The Infinite 200, Chameleon XT plate heater, and KNF lab pump have also been powered on. The Chameleon XT displays an error message when powered as no air supply is connected, which is consistent with it not being set up for operation.

No further functional testing has been carried out, as commissioning and full verification would require the relevant software to be installed on a suitable PC and the system assembled/configured.

Working when previously in use, password protected by Cytiva so cannot be tested by ourselves, reset through Cytiva will be required by next user, this cannot be done pre-sale as it will form part of the servicing contract agreement. Cytiva are happy to do this post-sale.

Zeiss Axiovert 200M Confocal Microscope System with LSM510 META & Multi-Laser Setup

This system was removed from a university laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.

The previous owner confirmed it was in good working condition prior to removal.

The microscope connects to the PC and communicates successfully. The Meta software displays CAN errors on startup, which appear to be due to the lasers not being connected. Further testing was not possible without the lasers, but all indications suggest the system is otherwise functioning as intended.

The system is in good used cosmetic condition with typical signs of general use. It includes a comprehensive confocal setup featuring multiple laser modules, incubation controls, computing equipment, and imaging software.

Elementar Rapid MAX N Exceed Nitrogen / Protein Analyzer with Software & Consumables – 2017

This system is offered for sale on behalf of a client as surplus to requirements.

The system is a 2017-manufactured Elementar Rapid MAX N Exceed, designed for nitrogen and protein analysis in laboratory and industrial testing environments. The instrument is reported by the client to be in full working condition and is supplied with the required software. Please note that the PC is not included.

The system has been maintained internally by the current owner, with the most recent preventative maintenance completed in April 2026. During this PM, all tube fillings and consumables were replaced and are reported to be brand new.

SPT Labtech Dragonfly® Discovery 3-Head Liquid Handling System with Laptop & Accessories

This  system is being sold on behalf of a client where it is surplus to requirements.

The system was purchased in late 2023 and installed on 26/09/2024. It was purchased alongside an SPT Labtech Mosquito® LV Genomics system to deliver the Olink Explore 3k workflow on site. Shortly before the planned training date, Olink removed this product from the market, meaning the client no longer has a workflow requirement for the liquid handling equipment.

Other than installation and set-up, the system has not been used. It was recently serviced on 16/03/2026, and supporting service/installation documentation is available.

SPT Labtech have advised that a new user would be able to purchase a service and training package directly from SPT if required.

The system is supplied with its configured laptop and SPT software. Any remaining consumables from the initial installation will also be included, along with documentation relating to a recent preventative maintenance visit.

Please note that the original crate/packaging is not available, so specialist packaging and collection will need to be arranged by the purchaser.

IPX5 / IPX6 Strong Water Spray Test Chamber, 1400L

This system is being offered for sale on behalf of a client due to being surplus to ongoing requirements at The National Robotarium, Edinburgh.

The unit is an IPX5 / IPX6 strong water spray test chamber with a 1400L test volume, designed for ingress protection testing using strong water jets in line with IP waterproof test procedures. Systems of this type are used for product and component validation across electronics, automotive, industrial and R&D environments where repeatable water spray exposure testing is required.

According to the client, the chamber is in very good used condition and close to new in appearance and working order. It was rarely used between 2022 and 2026, with fewer than 20 recorded uses, and no issues or faults logged during ownership. The client has advised that the unit has not been recalibrated since original purchase, however no loss of calibration has been identified. Routine internal maintenance, including replacement of water and cleaning of the water container, has been carried out in line with the user manual. No external maintenance record is available.
