The system includes a BD FACSCanto II Flow Cytometer, Fluidics Cart, and a complete PC setup with software and manuals. Due to the presence of a Class 3 laser, the flow cytometer could not be powered on. The fluidics cart powers on and is fully equipped.

This is a 2 laser 6 colour (4-2) unit.

Prior to removal, the previous owner retained several components for use with their replacement microscope. Eyepieces, objective lenses and filter cubes are therefore not included.

The remaining microscope system is in working condition. Please note that the PC would benefit from upgrading, as the installed software can run slowly and intermittent software communication errors have occurred.

Please note: There is a slight crack to the microscope enclosure around the socket for the eyepiece housing. This did not affect fitting or securing the eyepiece housing and the damage has been photographed.

The CTI-Cryogenics 9600 helium compressor is supplied with an SKE 331-3 auto transformer, used to step down a 440V US 3-phase input to 220V suitable for the compressor.

The compressor features a dropped phase detector and will not operate unless all three input phases are present and correctly aligned. A cold head is required for operation (not included) and can be sourced separately. Replacement of the compressor adsorber is recommended as part of routine servicing.

The helium loop is still pressurised, and so is unlikely to have been contaminated

This system must be installed and wired by a qualified electrician. The unit was confirmed to be working prior to removal, but needs wiring up.

The system could not be tested further as the PC appears locked within the Liaison software environment. According to DiaSorin, this is a known issue that can occur after relocation and can typically be resolved by DiaSorin engineers.

The unit is in very good cosmetic condition and has been decontaminated.
