Model: SCIEX PA800 PLUS

Shimadzu HPLC System with SIL-20A, LC-20AT, DGU-20A5, CTO-20A, SPD-M20A & FRC-10A

This system was removed from a facility where it was surplus to requirement.

The system powers on and has passed PAT testing.

The Shimadzu SPD-M20A Photodiode Array Detector is fitted with a new replacement deuterium lamp. The unit continues to show a status/fault indication after the lamp replacement. This is likely because the lamp hours were not reset after the lamp was fitted.

The SPD-M20A front panel does not contain an integrated LED display, and the unit appears to be designed for control and monitoring through another system component or external software.

The remaining status indication may require the lamp operating hours to be reset via the appropriate Shimadzu software. This reset has not been carried out as the required software is not available, and the detector's operation following the lamp replacement has therefore not been confirmed.

This system was removed from a laboratory where it was surplus to requirements.

Due to limitations with testing Class 3+ lasers at our facility, we were unable to carry out full functionality testing on the EnVision instrument and therefore it has not been powered on or tested by us.

However, the supplied PC system is  fully operational and has been verified to connect to the EnVision 2104, with screenshots provided showing the software running.

It is in good cosmetic condition.

Important: This unit currently has shipping bolts fitted to protect the instrument during transport. These must be removed prior to use. (Replacement bolts have been fitted using best available equivalents, as the original supplied bolts were not available.)

Please also note: The supplied RS232 comms cable must be connected to the PCI card RS232 socket, not the built-in Dell RS232 port.

IP5X / IP6X Dust Test Chamber, 1000L

This system is being offered for sale on behalf of a client due to being surplus to ongoing requirements at The National Robotarium, Edinburgh.

The unit is an IP5X / IP6X dust chamber with a 1000L test volume, intended for dust ingress testing of products and assemblies under controlled conditions. Equipment of this type is commonly used for environmental simulation and ingress protection testing where repeatable exposure to circulating dust is required for product development, qualification and compliance work.

According to the client, the chamber is in very good used condition and close to new in appearance and working order. It was rarely used between 2022 and 2026, with fewer than 20 recorded uses, and no issues or faults logged. The client has advised that the chamber has not been recalibrated since original purchase, however no loss of calibration has been identified. Routine internal maintenance and periodic quick runs every two weeks were reportedly carried out in accordance with the user manual. No external maintenance record is available.

No further testing has been carried out by us.

Native onboard software supplied with the chamber is included. Videos of the system in operation are available on request.

According to information provided by the previous owner, the unit was last used approximately eight or more years ago. There were no known faults at the time of last use, however it is likely due to the extended period of inactivity, the x-ray tube may no longer be functional and may require replacement. We are unable to confirm this.
